In Happier News.....

While thunder rumbles outside my window right now, here's a shot taken last week: the Old Gal was surrounded by a rainbow, with the sun shining in as if she was covered in a dome of protection.  A few minutes later, it became a double rainbow.

So before this storm hits, let me finish being "Southern"....yep, I was born and raised here.  Hubby just did boiled peanuts like my Grandma use to do and I have a fresh peach cobbler in the oven using my Memaw's recipe.  There's pork chops and fresh butter beans for dinner.

Have a good weekend y'all!

Yep and I'd never make you sing for your supper. :)

We had grey skies and rolling thunder this morning! Big rains yesterday and the day before, I think. It's getting so frequent, I'm not sure anymore. Looking outside and it just may start again!! We live in a crazy, mad, but gorgeous place, Hope! xoxoxo

But I would sing for you anyway.

If Maurcheen's going to sing, I'll bring the bouzouki :)

I'm a really poor friend-in-blogging. Rarely dropping by to say hello. Sorry about that, old pal. :) But, when I do drop by, I am always lifted by your literacy and your great great heart and passion. I've read loads of your post this evening and am just full with admiration.

Keep on keepin' on, just as you do, and thanks you for your support and friendship, which I treasure.

Nope... I haven't been drinking. :D xxx

Kim: you're on! I'll even help you set up your camera equipment so you can take shots remotely and keep on playing. :)

Ken: as long as you drop in, I don't mind. There aren't enough hours in the day to accomplish all I'd like to get done. Thanks for the compliment. Sometimes I'm just ranting at the shadows, but I find writing helps me understand what I might otherwise just walk past with a sigh.
