The fall memo hasn't reached here either! It was 27C the other day (that's somewhere around 80F I believe) and right now it is 24C/75F. The leaves are changing and falling, but it is warm and breezy, with the sun shining in a clear blue sky.Your hibiscus is gorgeous. I wish I could grow hedges of them here like they do in San Diego. I love those flowers!
Was walking around in a t-shirt today it was that warm. (No, of course I was wearing troosers too!) Still lots of flowers here but yours are nicer! :¬)xxxHey Pon! :¬)
Ponita: glad to share a little "pretty" with you this morning. This was a strange little hibiscus "tree"...it's actually three small stems braided together, to resemble a "tall" bonsai tree. I keep the bottom free of leaves so it stays that way. It's in a large pot and winters indoors.maurcheen: darn! I was envisioning the t-shirt and speedos look. ;) Glad I could present you with a flower before it could wilt.
I've seen those "braided" trees here in gardening shops. Indoors here in the winter too and in a pot outside in the summer. I've thought about getting potted plants but I have two cats who will eat any greenery.Hi Maurcheen! Yeah, I had visions of you in a t-shirt and speedo as well. =D
Here's the thing, I CAN produce photies of me in a tee & (white) Speedos, but the other fella is also in the same photie (in matching outfit) and, well, I'm 'NOT ALLOWED!!' :¬) (And I forgot to mention we had both just walked out of the ocean, so, .....)xxx
Well, for the sake of your health we'll let it go. This time. ;)
Okay I think I find out a way to post again here. YEA!!! Your Hibiscus is beautiful. Before we redid the yard we had 3 of those trees. one was brown, one yellow and of course the red one.
What a smashing wee bloom hen, bright and cheerful, just like your good self.I shall be away for a wee bit, we are on a short flight to somewhere nice to look at some fresh countryside and hopefully give me some new ideas on what flowers to plant in my newly 'soiled' terrace. Please look in on the little singing fella and make sure he doesn't set fire to the house for me hen. Cheerio...
Thom: yea..you live. :)Chef: well, as long as you post photos of the chosen flowers, I guess we can let you "escape" again. Sigh.Um, did you give me the key to the cabinet for the adult drink, so our little singing fella knows ahead of time not to knock the door down searching for it? Have fun with your lovely lady!
I have my own key. :¬)
Ah maurcheen,I should've known. :)
And I know where he goods the keep stuff... hic! :*)
