Space...The Final Resting Place

R.I.P.  Neil Armstrong.

You were one of the highlights of my childhood.  I always thought it was cool that I was 11 when Apollo 11 landed on the moon.  You probably don't remember, but I went outside and waved at you.

Whenever I see the moon, I will continue to be amazed that man walked there.  I will smile knowing that you were the first.

I would sit outside and stare at the moon trying to comprehend that he was actually up there. I would send thought messages about how me, and millions of others, were staring at him.

I was glued to the TV from liftoff until splash down. I so remember that and if you remember he was suppose to set foot on the 21st which I thought would be the best birthday present ever. But they went a day early and I was still glued to the TV. Nothing better. They got a wave from me as well.

Ironic that he was such a quiet guy who would've been a little embarrassed probably by all the tributes popping up.

But he deserves every one of them.

A true hero that hopefully, unless the rumours are actually true, really was out of this world.

Rumours eh? Who listens to malicious gossip anyway?

Ah Chef...not a fan of rumors.

But I find what you're cooking up most fascinating.

My dear lady, there is always a plate set at my table for such a bright woman such as yourself.
