The Muffed Target

Get the real rules over at Thom's.  The short version: don't get rid of those less than award winning photos...share them with others for fun.
Here's mine:

Mama Mockingbird feeding her 4 kids.

A dark bird in a dark corner against a camouflaged boat
with a nest in a tire does not make for a clear image.
But all 4 grew up and have flown the coop.

Oh! What a cool meme! I have lots of photos that would fit this theme. Makes you wonder why I never deleted them... Maybe I was waiting for this subconsciously? However, since the next Tuesday is also my surgery day, I might not remember to do this...

But I like your birds. Almost like the darkness is Mama Mockingbird intentionally keeping her babies safe. ;-)

Yes it is a little dark, but I can still see the birdies!
In one of the barns at the greenhouses, swallows nest every year. This year I was determined to get some pictures of them. They all came out waaaay too dark and I deleted them. I planned to take a light over there the next day and hoped the swallow mom wouldn't dive bomb me! I took the light, and they had all flown! I was soo bummed...

Titus: I've done worse but the darkness made it qualify. And she's such a pretty Mama!

Thom:I promise to be worse next time.

Map: cute, huh?

Ponita: it is! Now I can claim bad shots are for Tuesdays!

tilden: the bird parents tolerated us but not the dog so much...he's missing a little fur off his butt where Walter our Guard Mockingbird took a swipe at him.
