Friday 55

Write a story in 55 words and share it with the man who birthed this Friday Fun...the g-man.

She smiled politely when wished, “Happy Mother’s Day!”

Well meaning strangers, unaware she didn’t have children.

Ah, better than the judgmental ones, viewing childlessness as unnatural.

Sometimes, Life picked a different road
than the one you mapped out in childhood.

Then again, no kid had ever screeched at her, “It’s all YOUR fault!”

Yes, this one's true but don't cry for me Argentina...or any other location.   I am years past that initial shock of realizing I wasn't going to be fruitful and multiply.  Life goes on.

So while some may think it's ironic that I'm the one who enjoys researching the family tree, I see it as life having a sense of humor....and I'm playing along.

Being in the same boat, Hope, I cam sympathize. I always say, due to life's circumstances, it just didn't happen. Which, in my case, is true. Not due to any health issues; I guess it just wasn't in the cards.

cheer up.

I never think childless women are different, life is boring if everyone is 100% perfect, without darkness, life is not be fully cherished.

Bless all Women!
Bless You.
Happy Mother's Day to Moms around you. Blessings..

In an age when the planet is already groaning under the burden of out population, being childless is not selfish.

A truthful post, and a testament to how little control we have over the path our life takes.

Hi Hope,
This is so true. It took me three years of trying before I had my first child. I know how bad it can feel to go years without being able to get pregnant. I hope this piece was not about you. That would be a tough place to be in.

My blog

God Bless,
