Monday Microfiction

Time to write a story in 140 characters, then let Susan know you came to play.

I swear Mister, I just saw it!
Rose up really high and smiled right at me.

Whadya mean the Ohio River
doesn't have a Loch Ness monster?

Brilliant! The way it displayed meant I didn't get the punchline until I scrolled down and I just didn't know what was coming.

I agree with Titus, absolutly Brilliant. LOVE your take on this weeks picture.
Besides I'm sure there are some kind of monsters in the river.
I've been there. Just kidding!

Wonderful Hope, always enjoy the visits here on Microfiction Day, you always come up with a winner. The Loch Ness Monster, I am still chuckling.

There IS an Erie Monster!

Wouldn't it be too cool if it did! That water sure is moody enough for one.

They call her(?) Nessie in Scotland. Wonder what they'd call her in Ohio?

Great one, hope. Have a great week.

Haha--love it! My husband and I once sat for a couple of hours watching for Nessie in her lake...we ate our picnic lunch on the banks of the lake, but Nessie must have been sleeping or perhaps she didn't like what we were eating...(if I remember correctly it was ham slices and bread and cheese...)
Have a great week...thanks for the memory your mm evoked for me.

Now, why didn't I think of that?

I love Nessie; nice take on our picture this week, Hope.
Mrs. Jim and I spent an afternoon a couple of years ago looking for that lake (loch) critter.
