Oh Come On!

You guys didn't eat THAT much turkey!

Hope those of you braving Black Friday are staying safe.
You couldn't PAY me to go out today!

But right now,
the floor seems just about as hazardous as a shopping mall.

Enjoy your weekend!

No sir -- I'm avoiding shopping like the plague this weekend. The dog had the right idea.

Rachel & Dominic: Black Friday is supposedly the biggest shopping day of the year in the States. Some stores open as early as 3 a.m.! There is no bargain on earth worth being trampled for by a crowd of crazed shoppers. :)

Jerry: the dogs agreed I should stay home. :)

Hi Jingle!

Michael; thanks. I feel better. My Mom thinks something's wrong with me for hating crowds, especially of holiday shoppers. I didn't get the "girl gene" for shopping...my hubby has more shoes than I do. ;)

Our big sales day used to be Boxing Day (26th Dec) or 1st Jan... but now it is all year round I think!

I'm glad everyone has cleared up the Black Friday thing. I was over at EO's and had to ask there...

And great, great dog shot!

I went shopping on Black Friday the first year I lived in Texas... and that was the final time too!

Estimated Manitobans heading across the border to shop this year on Black Friday? 4000!!!! Can you imagine the wait at the border to get either into the US or back to Canada? Insane, I say.

My dog lies with her head off the bed like that too. My guess is it's more comfy to have the body cushioned. The old noggin is hard as iron so she doesn't feel any hardness from the floor!
