Microfiction Monday

Write a story in 140 characters, then let Susan know you came to play.   Why yes, I did say a WHOLE story in 140 keystrokes.

This week's illustration

I'd rather be pulled asunder by two of these massive beasts
than be caught dead in public with Harold
wearing that silly leopard hat again.

Yes, he is rather lacking in fashion sense, isn't he?!

Hope;

I agree, he whole leopard skin outfit is off!
Hope you had a great Thanksgiving.
We spent ours with family too and I'm still eating turkey sandwiches.

LOL ... great take on it!

Yes, brilliant!

Unlike me. What's the fabby illustration of? My brain is stuck on Hercules/Herakles, but they can't be the cattle of Geryon because they're white. And not the Augean stables. Cretan bull? Ooh, maybe Theseus?
Or Samson?
You can see I'm struggling here...

...and that cape, too; don't forget the leopard cape. She just can't take him anywhere.

Quite dramatic! I couldn't come up with anything for leopard man myself-good job!

Definitely no fashion sense!! You'd think he would have learned something about style by now!! Great take, Hope, as always! Hope you had a great Thanksgiving! Enjoy your week!

Very good. Very funny.
When I first saw the picture I thought I'd never come up with anything, but it sort of grows on you, doesn't it?

poor Harold, even his wife is ashamed of his outfit, haha. Very funny, loved it.

I hope she doesn't put this to the test. Harold seems to have no shame!

Great one, hope. Have a good week.

I don't blame her. His whole outfit is embarrassing: leopard skin, red toga and toeless boots? shudder
