Microfiction Monday

Write a story in 140 characters, then let Susan know you came to play.

 This week's illustration.

When you said you owned Pegasus Airways
and were sweeping me off my feet
to play among the stars tonight,
this isn't what I had in mind.

So often what they say is not what they mean. Too bad, too sad.

This may not be what she had in mind, but one is certain it is far, far better! Has there ever been a more unique date?

Question everything, I say! Good take on today's MM!
I'm so sorry about the hall damage! I came home one day to a flooded kitchen when a water pipe burst! NOT FUN!

She should have heeded a warning in that old line, 'sweep you off your feet.
Maybe it isn't too late to go back. ;)
