Microfiction Monday

Write a story in 140 characters, then let Susan know you came to play.

This week's photo
Hank SAID this was the best way to aerate the lawn.

But why dress up?

His pride.
He's too cheap to hire a gardener.
But we get new shoes!

Oh my, so funny. With what it costs to buy shoes these day, Hank should have employed a gardener! I loved it.

p.s. I’m running a competition this week and holding a blogfest in November. If you get time, pop along and have a look.

Excellent! Many's the lawn I've aerated . . .

Lol! I don't think spike heels were in back in the 1940s, but even non-spikey heels would sink into the wet soil of England! I can so identify with that!

LOL! They're shoes aren't going to look too fancy when the lawn is finished with them.

Very funny indeed. I always hate tottering over lawns in high heels, but at least I now know there's a purpose to it.

Nessa said...

Anything for new shoes. It's not easy to walk on the lawn in high heels.
