Friday 55

It's time to play "Write a story in 55 words". When you do, be sure to let the G-Man know, then kindly visit as many 55ers as you can.

Rounding a corner, the driver spied three dark shapes huddled together in the middle of the deserted country road. Their meeting interrupted, the furtive trio skulked off in different directions, muttering.

“Look pretty guilty to me,” the driver mused as the large, black birds took flight. “No wonder they call you a ‘Murder of crows’.”

There is something suspicious about crows. I love that a group of them is called a "murder." I'm sure they were plotting something.

Excellent my friend. I love the ending of this and never would have known a murder of crows. I so didn't see that coming. Well done :)

I've ALWAYS loved that term...Murder of Crows
It does indeed seem so sinister, unlike a Gaggle of Geese!
Excellent 55 My Friend.
It's great to see you back at the Friday Funfest. And Hope....?
Have a Kick Ass Week-End

Pattiken, I tried to visit you but it said you didn't exist. But I'm sure you do. Thanks for dropping in.

Thom, weird thing is that part of it is true: I did come around a corner and find 3 crows in the row. What got my imagination going was that they didn't fly off, but scurried off like 3 rats!

Hi Monkey Man..just left your place. list!

Brian, these were the world's weirdest, slow crows!

Thanks's fun to play again!

Susan these crows were so weird I think a possum would've quit playing possum long enough to tell them to get lost. :)

Crows are smart and I love this they go a-muttering, a murder of crows. I don't think I realized that's what a group is called. Really really like this.
