I think they are all adorable. I wish we still wore bonnets.
You absolutely win for the best multimedia 55 of the week. This was so enjoyable! My 55 is here in case you'd like to read.
Ah Brian, I couldn't find photos of the really AWFUL one which my usually talented Grandma had made. We looked like Little House on the Prairie Orphans. :)Nessa...seems my fashion sense peaked at age 10. :)Thanks GM...it brought back some fun memories. Off to visit you now.
Those hats are great - don't give up wearing hats. Great 55. My 55 is HERE.
Very cute 55. You were delightful!
Fun 55, and I liked your hats, they show character...
LOL...that is just too funny. Love it and well done. What a trip down memory lane.
Well at least the flying saucer looked better than Pilgrim Girl on the other side of Daddy LOL.Hope, all those hats are a sign of CLASS! They're great!

What a great hat tour! I'm with Susan on flying saucer vs. Pilgrim Girl. I have a deep desire for my own Southern Alaskan though. Way cool!
funny and lovelygreat 55;)
Hahaha! I HATE hats, so I appreciated this story very much.
Monkey Man, the only hat I wear now is when it snows. Meaning I wore one this winter for the first time in 10 years. :)RNSANE: I keep looking at that little girl and wondering what she was thinking. :)Brighid: I think they show that Mom liked dressing me up like a doll. ;)Thom, it was a trip all right! Can you imagine anyone wear little white cotton gloves for Easter today?Susan, that's "Little Sis" when she was actually little...she outgrew me pretty fast! That picture makes me squirm because I remember that dress when I got the flu. To this day I hate grey wool!G-Man, it's my Easter Egg for you. ;)Ji: Thanks. I'll be checking y'all out on Saturday.Titus, the "southern alaskan" is ironically one of my favorite pictures and yet I barely remember what the COAT looked like. Just that hood. :)Dulce; thanks! It is fun to take a look back at "traditional" Easter.EGWow: I rarely wear hats these days and I was amazed at how many childhood pictures had me wearing one!
Don't kid yourself, you still wear many hats; there just not as visible as they once were.
A hat's a hat for a' that. Enjoyed the trip down nostalgia lane. And the "Alternate Endings" thing doesn't actually have an expiration date. Or any other "rules" really, other than the ones that apply to 55 in general. If you feel the muse speaking to you, now or later fire away. Three people have sent links so far. I'm keeping them on the page where the setup story is and I'll post any newcomers in upcoming 55FFF posts.
Hey! I was stylin!!Love, Pilgrim Girl
Hey, I like those flying saucers. Can't figure out what I did with my own, though.
Hey whats wrong with a flying saucer anyway? If you still had it you could come N seen the man in the moon. Thanks for stopping by and leaving your comment as always I love every word. As people say I bring Hope to "This Blog Of Mine" winksNsmiles@ULarry Moon...
