Microfiction Monday

With a mere 140 characters, use Susan's photo of the week to tell a story. Then make sure you tell her you played. Come on! It's fun! Here's this week's photo.

See the world, muttered the new sailor,
looking at the woman from the poster.

"Hi! I'm Ida World. Here you go," she smiled,
handing him a mop and pointing to the deck.

Hope,
Yes Siree, The Navy is tough! My Uncle used to go on about it quite a bit! I have a few friends who enlisted way back when, and they'd get a kick out of your story too! It's amazing how tough they are! Thank you and nice to meet you cyberly that is! Have a great afternoon!

Thanks Nessa! Usually Monday and "clever" don't go hand in hand.

SassyMamaBear...mopping is part of the world I suppose. :)

John: thanks! I wondered if it was too obvious or just dumb. :)

Thank you kindly Sir Anthony.

Thom: always glad to make you laugh. You can still get back up off the floor, right? ;)

Peggy, seems kinda funny that you have to have a clean place to go to war, huh?

Susan, bet he wanted to see more of Ida until the mop appeared. :)

Thanks juliana!

Titus, I swear Susan never fails to amaze me with the photos she brings us each week! You should try this.

Allisonian, nice to meet you too...do come back to visit. See you next Monday.

Christopher: isn't it funny how we overlook the "boring" parts of reality?

Thanks Sylvia! Sometimes Susan makes me think harder than normal. :)

Quilly, I'll admit to channeling Dr. John on this one. :)

Larry, being called clever on a Monday is like winning a Pulitzer Prize. :) So tell me, how the hang to we LINK here for our stories instead of just saying, "Go read mine"?
