Oh, good one!! It's so much fun to read everyone's take on the same picture! And yours is great! I do love this meme! Such fun! Have a great week!Sylvia
This was good Hope, I snickered out loud. I like everyone's take on the picture.
LOL Why IS one holding the other one's clothes?? Hmmmm....
Brilliant! So often it's that last line that takes it to another level.
The wishful, wishful thinking. This reminds me of how kids will ask a question again 15 minutes later hoping the answer has changed. Or they'll re-watch a movie and get scared all over again, even though they know how it comes out! Well done and late happy birthday!
Susan brings up a good point, why is one of them holding the other one behind the back. Maybe they have been out drinking. :)I LOL Hope, thanks for that!
Great stuff! Makes me want to go read all the others, but I must work.
Very good! Must be tiresome being a talking mirror . . .
wow hopwe - wicked header picture!!!!!! oooooh yeah!!! oh and the words? very fun!!! steven
I work at a special place... we call that the "stupid loop," keep doing the same thing and expect a different result. Really fun to see it in action on a Monday fun day! Nice job ;)
When I read Thom's piece last night I thought to myself people are going to think I copied him. I didn't like that at all but, now, that I've been to several others blog they'll think I copied every body's because we're all pretty close to the same, mirrors and all. I love this meme, well I love em all but, this is probably my favorite. Did you read my Land of the Gnomes you must is a fun read if I say so myself.Land Of The Gnomes have a great week Hope..
OMG...We are evil twins I tell you LOL. Too funny your story. I love it.
This was hilarious! Well done!
Sylvia...it is fun, isn't it? Glad you stopped by.Bill, it is amazing which directions our minds run off to. ;)Susan, reminds me of a "friend" I had as a teen...you'd say a boy was cute and she'd break her neck to date him. Looks like one of these gals is trying to hold the other one back. :)Titus, I needed the word "brilliant!" linked to my name today. It gives me...well...hope. :)SouthLakesMom, I know what you mean! And thanks for the birthday wishes!Peggy, I've heard of clingy people before but.... ;)Eryl, if someone told me that I could write a story in less than 500 words I would've told them to see a shrink! And yet they're addictive!jabblog...gee, I never thought about it from the mirror's point of view. Perhaps it can just crack and she'll go away.steven: Susan gets credit for picking these illustrations. [See Susan, I said "credit" not "blame"]. Some weeks the words just flow, some weeks not. This one just felt like going back to childhood. :)The Skald: are you sure we don't work for the same employer? ;)Larry, I felt the same way! I write first, then go visit the rest of you. I think I started with Thom....and then added a disclaimer! I will read your other work as soon as possible...supper is calling!Thom, it's nice to know if I have an evil twin, at least he's in a lovely place like Hawaii. :)Kay I'm glad you're playing along! It's fun, isn't it?
I love this idea. I'm going to give it a try next week. Thanks for visiting my blog ages ago...I'm a little behind in visiting people.
