Friday 55

What? A gift for myself? Yes, I'm practicing scheduling a 55 in advance so I don't miss any fun during the holiday season! So be kind and let the G-Man know if you played this write a story in 55 words game.

It was the perfect gift. No worries about size or color. No standing in line to return. It was love personified. The best part was he understood it’s truly the simple things which count.

“Thanks,” she smiled as her husband cooked dinner. “You’re the only one who’s ever given me time for myself. Guilt free.”

Ah yes, here's my little Christmas angel
who is no doubt wishing for something to aid in capturing alligators,
not for a girl who will one day appreciate him as a husband.
Hey, if you had three sisters,
you'd probably do an angelic pose too,
just in case Santa was watching.

What a CUTE picture! LOL Three sisters? -- he probably *wasn't* wishing for another girl after all, but how wonderful he changed his mind one day.

Some free time sounds like a wonderful present to me: Merry Christmas!

What a sweatheart, the perfect gift. Time to spend as you wish.
He's a keeper and I'm sure that he feels the same way about you.
Three sisters is great training for husbandhood(not a word!).
Hope you had fun with your time!

Susan, I think that's why he grew to love the outdoors and girls! Plus his Dad was an Air Force Recon Pilot who got sent on temporary duty, so the odds weren't in Hubby's favor. :)

No matter what we give each other for Christmas, the fact we'll BOTH be off from work from Dec. 23rd to Jan 4th is the best gift!

Peggy, it did prepare him and he's also an excellent cook!

enchantedoak, he's one in a million. Glad I snagged him early on. :)

Brian, I see you're part of the "one in a millon club". Trust me, your wife is VERY grateful.

Brighid, we are and thankful to boot!

Thanks Thom! I try to keep the "girl drama" to a minimum as odds are he experienced way too much of it growing up. :)

Dr. John, isn't it the truth! We waste so much time getting ready that we're often too pooped to enjoy the end result. :) Merry Christmas to you and yours!

G-Man, you've given the gift that keeps on giving: Friday 55s. :) Merry Christmas and see you on New Year's!

Akelamula, the heartfelt gifts are the best, aren't they? Hope yours is special!
