Flash Time

The topic of discussion was Transforming Moments. Some were life and death situations with out-of-body experiences. Calm in the midst of chaos.

When it was her turn...

...she drew a blank.

Was she so busy taking care of those around her that she'd missed her moment?

Or had that moment not yet arrived?

If you write one of these 55 word stories, make sure and let the G-man know. As promised, here is the link to Steven's blog so you can read all about some of those very moving stories. You'll find some names you know, like Titus and Rachel.

Super writing.

Mona, perhaps she just needs some "me" time. :)

Titus...um, not half as super as your true story!

Good Flash 55, I wonder if she missed something in all the excitement?

Boomer, see we're all good at reviving old memories that make us giggle...as long as we aren't the victim. :)

Vicki, I so love the sound of the ocean on your site!

Monkey Man, you're right. 55s are legally addictive and help you find people you might have otherwise missed.

G-Man, I guess time will tell. If I'm going to get hooked on another blog thing, it might as well be something this brief. Really makes me tighten up my writing...which is difficult for she who hates "in 500 words or less" demands. ;)

Bill...you could be right. If one is taking care of everything, you have to miss something.

Thanks CJ...it was fun visiting you.

ARGH! What incredible timing. We went away at dawn on Friday morning and got back midnight on Saturday---and some of the topic of discussion (and too much of my own introspection) was just THIS. Just exactly this.

Hope, it's superb, with or without the timing. I loved it!

This is great.

Her moment will come...

Mmm, I wonder how many (potentially) transforming moments we miss - and what causes us to miss them.

Somehow I missed you on Friday.
But you wrote a fine 55.

Susan, glad you got to get away. Ah yes, the female mind...capable of multi-tasking for everyone but the one in owning that tasked brain. :)

Eryl & Dr. John..thanks. I keep hoping I at least READ everyone's this week...even if I forgot to comment because the dryer buzzed. Laundry...sigh.

Dave, sometimes I think the speed of life currently is not conducive to stopping to smell the roses. And yet I still own a rose bush. :)
