If you decide to play, make sure you visit MrKnowitall, affectionately known as G-Man, to let him know.Fireworks for the 4th of July were expected. The in-house implosion however, had not been anticipated.
Suffocating in an atmosphere of lies and backstabbing, he declared his independence. And quit.
Without 2 weeks notice.
That they were blindsided and stunned was merely the last job related perk he would enjoy.
Hello, land of the free.

Ah, a great time to declare independence. Few things are more miserable than deplorable working conditions.
I hope they had something lined up!
Excellent 55 My Dear...
Loved the Independance Theme...
Thanks for playing, thanks for visiting, and have a GREAT Holiday....G
I've been tempted to do that quite a few times in my life :-)
Ah James, you are so correct. Thanks for visiting!
G-Man, for someone like myself to whom the phrase "less than 500 words" makes me laugh hysterically, this has really been a fun exercise! I've had another one for a couple of weeks but it has a special picture to go with it. Should I ever retrieve it from senile little brother, I'll post it.
Thanks anthonynorth. I am currently tempted...but in this economy, there has to be a back up plan. Especially with house and car payments. :)
You humans always ending up in jobs you don't like. Goad he got gfree.
Great 55
Ours is posted.
Fandango, if we could breathe fire, things would change. :)
More people should so explode. In the end it would produce a better world.
Liked your 55
Here is hoping he doesn't regret the personal fire works display. Don't burn bridges is my motto, but I too have been pushed to the limit!
Good 55.
Excellent, good on him...does he slam the door on the way out? :))
Thanks for visiting my 55.
That's a superb 55! Love the 'perk' LOL. I'll admit, I *have* done this; just took the last straw and walked out. Wow, did that feel good to be free. Didn't feel so good to go broke and homeless afterward however. Still.... yeah, worth it. LOL
You put just so much into those few words, it's great!
