The Harder I Try... do my part being "green" and ecologically responsible, the more places my Boss sends me. Sigh.

So tomorrow I hope to post something light and uplifting, choosing to put grumpy to bed in hopes the light of Friday morning makes everything all right again. Hey, a girl can dream, right?

Here's wishing you a pleasant weekend!

Read my poem, "Miles to Go Before I Eat" (if you like, I'm not forcing you).
Coincidentally, I'm doing a poetry reading in a couple of hours for The Green Party of my region. It's a fund-raising event and I offered to read. Should be interesting.

Do watch American Idol? I'm ranting on it today at "Keepsakes".

Aww. Good luck with the Boss and the greening and the uplifting and the weekend! (I'm staring at a blank page myself, meanwhile...)

You just see the glass half full...always the optimist. Tomorrow always holds that promise.
I enjoy your blog so much.

Thanks ladies!

I ran out of time today. So I will cling to my southern roots and drawl, "Well tomorrow is another day." ;)

I keep trying to be green and use my free bus pass but I can't get to where I want to go on one bus. Haven't got time to use two or I won't get to pick up my granddaughter in time. Never mind in summer I'm going to take my granchildren on the bus for a treat! Don't think my granddaughter has ever been on one!

Winifred, don't think I've ever used "public transportation" before. I walked to school [road a school bus once just to see what it was like and ended up walking home anyway..long story] or rode my bike.

You're great to want to give your grandchild that experience! I always wanted to ride on a train, [not Amtrack, an old fashioned one] but they discontinued that tour before I got around to it.
